Celebrating the University of Oregon’s invitation to play in the BCS National Championship game on January 10th, Film Action Oregon (“FAO”), provider of educational arts experiences for over 2,000 young people each year, is partnering with Rose City author, speaker and creative catalyst Kevin Carroll to create some “Game Day” excitement for FAO’s production and animation education programs by hosting an inspiring Pep Rally for the Arts. This exciting event will bring the stadium experience to the Hollywood Theatre, providing a creative collision of film, food, fun and a sports auction. Auction items from the Trail Blazers, Seahawks, a special-edition poster designed by Nike’s renowned designer Tinker Hatfield and more. Kevin will screen clips from some of the most powerful sports films ever produced, revealing the power of sport and film’s ability to capture our imagination, stir our emotion and inspire us to… support arts education for young people because… FILM can transform lives!
