“There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way in which it treats its children.”
- Nelson Mandela

Eric Howell’s film focuses on a rag-tag group of children in an unidentified, war-torn country who are playing soccer and their ball flies out of reach.  Our hero Ana is unexpectedly forced into a dangerous game of cat and mouse with a sniper. Ana’s Playground avoids political or regional stereotypes. Its focus is on the effects of war on children. The Katalyst - Episode #5

A chance meeting with filmmaker Eric Howell created a catalytic opportunity for me to serve as an “encourager” to him as he was working on his short, award winning film - Ana’s Playground. His film will make you take pause & ponder the notion of innocence lost.
